done with paper! YAY. that paper, along with an econ midterm, explains why i haven't been blogging. now, with a whole week of nothingness planned, i will have much time to blog. first, however, is cornell.

so I remember meeting this guy once, and I didn't even meet him, really, cause it was a debate round. Anyway, I linked through kate's site, and I was amused, because 1.) He's in Spain. I love Spain. I wish I had a place to crash in Valencia.
2.) He's amused by anarchism. It is pretty funny, especially the part about how anarchist collectives end up being totalitarian, just like many leftist groups, which either do that or accomodate into nothingness.
3.) He's going to see the Strokes in Madrid. I saw Air at La Riviera, where they are probably playing. The only place that smelled more like hash was the Universidad Autonoma cafeteria.

i can't believe i used the phrase gaaaccckkkk two days in a row. Next thing you know, it'll be my new meh, or do-dee-do. The ultimate test is whether liss begins saying it.

GAAACCCCKKKK! so i tried to resize my writing screen, and everything went away!!!! horrible, horrible. anyway, i have been procrastinating studying for my geog midterm tomorrow, which is multiple choice, but i am worrying anyway.

Worked at exciting GW Ticketmaster. Sold two parking tickets for a total of $9.75. I make 8 dollars an hour, and worked about 6 hours. No wonder this place costs so much.

Was looking at tickets to stellenbosch today. apparently it is cheaper to fly into Johannesburg than cape town.

So it's like 3 am and I decide: what the hell, I'll start a blog!

So I was supposed to do all this crap this weekend, like write a census paper and study for International Finance. That's why i missed haverford, which apparently while I was away turned itself into the greatest frickin' tournament ever or something. Not that I'm bitter. After all, I got to see The Time Machine last night. Definitely more Samantha Mumba than Guy Pearce in terms of quality. When you want to yell at the movie to rewind 30 minutes and go on the tangent you thought of earlier, you know it sucks.

Thinking of Mr. Pearce, does anyone else realize the variety of roles this man has pulled off? Let's review:

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: This guy gave Boy George a run for his money in terms of femininity. Blue wigs and everything.
THEN
LA Confidential- Do-gooder straight laced cop who fights the corrupt system of LA justice. Kind of a pretty boy, but still, he's a cop in 1940s LA.
THEN
Memento- And the pendulum hits full swing. Very macho guy out to avenge his wife's death. Repeatedly tattoos body prison style, and has no short term memory. Out Keanus Keanu in that he manages to spend 90 minutes appearing completely clueless while simultaneously showing that the gears are still working upstairs, something Mr. Reeves has never managed to prove.

Note how these movies are ALL GOOD!! Then...
The Count of Monte Cristo- Ummmmm, yeah. Upper crust villian. He does a good job with what he's got, but he's already shown that he has better screenplay selection than this.
Time Machine-GAAAACCCKKKKK! Pain! Agony! Boredom! Bad Acting! You'd think if the director was HG Wells grandkid, he wouldn't screw up the book so much!

I should go to bed. I have to work at Ticketmaster tomorrow. Congrats everyone!
