you know, I could sit here and write some blog about debate, which is really tempting, and it would be about this ballot i got where tim junio wrote 11 facts that he said i was not aware of or that seriously impact my case. and i would then say that all of those things he writes are right, and its refreshing to see someone talk intelligently about international relations, but only about 2 maybe 3 directly contradict what I say during case. The rest are just opps to the points I make, and they are very good opp points, and they are the ones that i would say beat the case. but opp didn't make those points, and I know i wasn't being patronized or anything, but since i overreact to what i think people think of me, i would say that i felt i had to justify my knowledge of pertinent world regions and issues. anyway, i would think i would have a very good conversation outside of debate with tim junio concerning this issue, and that's something that while it may grow out of the annoyance of getting ripped in a ballot, is refreshing to find. so i guess, thanks?:-/
someone from panama city is reading this blog!!! (i love resolving those IP hostnames!) if you want to get in touch with me, the best email to use is schroede@gwu.edu. Hope to hear from you
most people who really know me know i have a desire to be tragically hip, however i usually fail to pull that off. However, I was thumbing through the urban outfitters webpage and they are selling a corduroy fedora for 25 bucks! HAHAHAHAhAHAHA! I felt so vindicated. Green cord fedora, lutheran thrift store, one dollar. if only i hadn't lost the fucking hat. i loved that piece of shit.
you know, previously I had decided to stay out of the fray, and I told people so. And I'm not going to get in arguments, I'm not going to be the arbiter of decisions, because there is a system set up, and while systems of a lot of things on the circuit don't work, this one does. All I am going to do is work as hard as I can to make sure things go off as well as they can, and the first step to that is making sure we have the people. So I make an announcement: If you are a dino, if you like to watch debate, or if you want to help me and have nothing better to do the second weekend in december (the 6th and 7th), you need to email wonderfullness@hotmail.com. Mention me, if I refer enough people I think i qualify for an extra day in hawaii
Can I just say I love the shirt I am wearing today? Because I do. I mean, its really nice, the pocket placement is perfect, and its the right size and the stitching is great. I think that's the real dealbreaker with a dress shirt. I mean, there is so little to work with that if you can get the pocket to look and fit right in terms of size and placement, you're set almost the rest of the way. Now if I could just get rid of the paunch I've got (although, honestly, I like it, its like a good friend it's been there so long; besides, Carissa is coming in January, and you know how she feels about EGS ;-) I'd feel pretty suave. Oh, except for the whole desperately need a haircut thing. Waiting till after mod night tho, want to get the moptop going with the microsuede jacket. Those going to william and mary should expect it in full force on saturday
I feel like shit and I hate you. No, this isn't to anyone in particular, its to everyone in particular. I am just in a bad mood, and there were initial reasons for it, but they're just exploding inside me, and I hate you.
I have opinons, but i don't like being disliked, so I hide them. I hated, hate, and always will hate group politics. Why can't we all just get along?
also, who in the hell would dispute it when someone says reykjavik is the capital of Iceland? seriously, I mean, what are you going to come back with? "No, its this glacier that's in the middle of the country. The gnomes built it in the time of magic, and now the legislators continue to meet there, and at meetings they wear magic loincloths to give them special rhetorical powers handed down from Asgard." umm, no. Its Reykjavik.
